Conquering the Great Outdoors

Klick was a fearless little cat, and he really liked high places. He loved this tree in front of our house, and would jump around on it from branch to a branch like a monkey. He liked to run from the main branches to smaller and smaller ones, until he was standing on a branch as wide as his one paw. This was NOT fun to watch for us, standing on the ground.
He also liked to climb the tree in our front yard, in one straight vertical run up the trunk, move on to a thin
ner branch and jump onto our roof. He had his route all worked out, and ground to roof usually took 2 seconds. He loved chasing squirrels up and down that roof, and then peering at us over the edge, as we stood on our front porch.
Our Mazda never looked so good as when he was on its roof grooming himself, or just chilling .

Dear Klick,
When Soumya described you to me, I thought you must be really cute.I'm really sad about what happened to you.I always wished I could see you live, but know that you went away I can't. I too am very, very sad. I feel very bad for you, because you lived a very short life, for you were only three years old. When Soumya showed us pictures of you, I said to myself how can anyone be so cruel and kill an innocent cat. Even though you will never be able to read this letter and even though I will never be able to see you, I hope you live a very, very safe life underground. I love you very, very much even though I never got to see you.

Love,
Gowri
